Hi A2 fans. Another year starts so we must start with organising a few socials. This year has a big one being organised in Scotland by Murdo thats looking to be the biggest yet ! Some old favourites and some new --- please take a look and get the dates in your diaries, as per usual a full event thread will be opened in good time to add your names.

APRIL 13TH (SAT)-- opening curry/italian night of dining in Birmingham at the ever popular "Duet Cuisine"
Good budget hotel in fort dunlop (shares the building with the duet and offers secure parking.

MAY 5TH (SUN) --Stanford Hall VW Show. This well established show was first attended by A2oc last year and what a cracking day we had (needed more space though jeremy !) So we are returning this year. Great show with loads to see.
We will be staying at the Holiday inn-Rugby-M1,J18

MAY 24TH-28TH --Scottish Holiday Social Please see the following thread for the details of this fantastic social.

JULY 14TH (SUN)--Kimbolton country Fayre. This has been a firm favourite with a2oc a great country fayre with so much to look/listen or take part with.
We are staying at the Holliday inn Huntingdon racecourse.

AUGUST 11TH (SUN)--AUDIS IN THE PARK now in its 11th year and we have been from the first show. Its not the worlds largest Audi show for nothing.
We will be staying at Holliday inn Corby A43 Kettering.

NOVEMBER--End of year meal TBC

Hi can I book a place please for Stanford hall on the 5th of may :)

Thanks
Hi Louis,

Great to hear that you want to join us on a social

As we get closer to the date, a thread will be posted where you can then use the RSVP to register for your place on the stand, much as in the same way as we have just posted a thread for the curry night.

We put the list of dates up now, so that people can put it in their diaries, but don't put the threads up until nearer the day of the event.

Regards A2Sumo & Vonnie

Ok thanks for letting me know :)

? is everything up north nothing down south our passports run out for anything north of Bristol ....

The number of socials has been reduced this year, since having arranged them for the past 10 yrs we wanted to have some time back for ourselves.

There were a couple of others that would have been closer to you, but this year they don't fit with our availability to organise.
Also , unfortunately we have found not too many takers the further South we went in the past. All off those posted in the first thread are also around a 2hr drive for us, so ignore what your told, you can easily pass Bristol without a passport :)

From Taunton I've just looked on google and several of them are only around the 3hr drive.
Stanford Hall (M1 Rugby) being the closest, so go on enjoy the drive and come and join us.

Regards A2Sumo & Vonnie

Yes they would be Terry, and lucky for anyone that does. The locations are reasonably central for most people though, and as in my last post, these are all a couple of hours drive for us as well, hence the hotels,. Although 2hrs each way and a full day in between is still easily done (I do it when I need to go into one of the offices for the company i work for and back in the same day)

For the last few years I've run a Welsh Social in South Wales which would be a little closer for you. We are signed up for the Scottish Holiday and the have baby number 3 due in July so I haven't committed to running a Welsh Social this year because things may be a little busy. If I can I will do and fit it around Mike and Yvonne' s ones so they don't clash.

I was being humerous ref north of Bristol needing passport ? but if there Is 1/2 doz down south that would like a small meet up early summer I personally would love to attend Somerset Dorset Devon anyone of these ..Paul
