Picked up my A2 today and what a drive home in the teath of storm Ciara.
I bought the car as a runabout to use alongside my Hilux as a clean car, rather than full of mud. The Lux is great, but not so fuel efficient and parking it in town can be a nightmare.

I bought a bright red 2005, 1.4 tdi se with 65k on the clock and with full history.
Pics to follow as soon as I can get back outside in the daylight. Managed to dismantle a roll spring checking out the ash tray so will need to work out how to put that back in.

Its due a service and mot in the next few weeks so will find a suitable specialist to give it a once over at the same time. Suitable suggestions for the side of Bristol and Bath would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

There are some servicing suggestions in this thread:

Welcome to the forum. Prepare to get hooked, these cars get under your skin!
If not already done I would recommend paying the one off fee for access to the Marketplace where all sorts of goodies and temptations are for sale.

Welcome! That's a fairly low mileage especially for a TDI. If you no luck with recommendations near to Bristol/Bath then I can recommend Audi VW Independent at 25 Lysander Rd, Bowerhill, Melksham SN12 6SP https://www.audivwsales.co.uk/aftersales/ . I've been using them for 10 years or so. They even have an A2 but don't give it as a courtesy car as the gearbox is knackered and it's done about 1/4million miles!

Hiya mate, I’m in Saltford near Bath. Recently bought a tdi and I’ve gone right through it. Happy to give yours a look over. No worries if not.

Cheers

Chris
