The corrugated section is wiring harness (to the crank sensor) the dipstick tube is above the pillar that sticks out from the sump - check to see if the tube is in the sump and bolted in place, from the wiring it looks like it may have been disturbed.
No I haven't but I have done the dipstick pipe. I checked my manual for instructions on removing the oil filler pipe and found nothing other than pull it out at the top. I assume therefore it is an easy task.Thank you very much for the schematic.
So looks like it could be the seal (no.5) that's the culprit unless there is a split/break in the pipe?
Should probably order items 5,6,7,10 and 11 then to be sure?
Hope Audi still have them.
Has anyone actually replaced this themselves?

It looks like the sump may have been off at sometime. The factory sump sealer is quite neat and consistent. Some unevenness on this car.The corrugated section is wiring harness (to the crank sensor) the dipstick tube is above the pillar that sticks out from the sump - check to see if the tube is in the sump and bolted in place, from the wiring it looks like it may have been disturbed.

Hi Shakter,hi @A2Z - reviving this thread as my 1.4 petrol has the same issue (crack in corrugated filler pipe causing a leak). Couple of questions please:
1. Do you know if the oil filler pipe is the same for the petrol and diesel engines? i.e. could I use one from a diesel to replace the pipe on my petrol?
2. What is the temporary fix that you used, which seems to have worked for a period of time? I may need to do this if I can't get the filler pipe replaced.
Thank you ?
Thought I would update this thread for the benefit of other's who experience the same issues.
The problem was due to a split in the corrugated plastic section of the filler pipe that attaches at the top to the oil filler housing in the service flap by way of a squeeze and push on/off connector and at the bottom into the air filter housing/oil cooler and into the top of the sump via a 'quick fit' connector/coupler, circular rubber seal and 'C' clip (not to be confused with the oil dipstick pipe/tube as other's have wrongly done in other threads and which is a totally different part and which is secured into the sump with a bolt).
When looking, I found numerous threads regarding this oil filler pipe, which I believe is a very common problem and annoyingly none of the threads ever provide a resolution to, as I don't believe anyone has ever been able to find any fitting instructions, other than the schematic which shows the parts but not how to actually do the job, which having replaced mine today I can confirm is a pig of a job with virtually no visibility and very little space and no real certainty as to how to fit the parts and what exactly goes where.
I have successfully fitted mine today however (having previously also removed and refitted my old split one which I did a temporary repair on that last lasted fine, so I have actually done the job twice now and from memory think I also did one about 10 years ago too) so I know very well now how to do it and also took photo's as I went.
I will try to do a 'how to' of sorts when I get chance which will hopefully make it as easy as it can be for others to do the same job in the future and at least know for sure where things go and how they go together ?
Photo's show original split pipe from the car (almost 17years old) and new replacement coupler, rubber seal and 'C' clip
Hi @A2Z this is the pipe that has been causing me a headache for a while now (just posted in the Wanted section again today infact)...can I ask where you sourced the pipe and how much it cost ?
Thanks !
I bought the coupler and c clip from tps and the pipe from A2Steve ?Hi @A2Z this is the pipe that has been causing me a headache for a while now (just posted in the Wanted section again today infact)...can I ask where you sourced the pipe and how much it cost ?
