Today I received an email from my insurer (Churchill) that they recognise people are doing significantly less mileage due to Covid-19.
The upshot is that you can fill in an online form, reduce the mileage (without an admin fee) and they’ll see if a refund is applicable. They won’t do this if the reduction is less than a 1000 miles but in my case it’s more so fine.
I’ve competed the online form today, we’ll see what the outcome is.
I’m quite impressed at the proactive stance, we’ll see if there’re is a marked reduction or not but worth a try.
Now....... let’s see if Aviva will do the same on my merc!
