Hi all, I've been having this issue for a month, code reader showed:
17950/P1542/005442 - Angle Sensor 1 for Throttle Actuator (G187): Implausible Signal
For 2-3 weeks that code went away, and it's been replaced with: 17566/P1158 - Manifold Pressure Sensor (G71): Implausible Signal, sproadic.
I've done my research, (https://www.a2oc.net/community/inde...ix-manifold-pressure-sensor-fault.7756/page-2) and found few older posts saying, that usually it's not the sensor, but crack/hole on the vacuum pipe, due rubbing on other parts.
I've looked around the G71 sensor and found a tiny crack caused my 2nd dipstick. Fixed that. Few days later EML and same 17566 code came back. Yesterday back from work, EPC, EML came on, which normal after some drive, but suddenly all the other start up lights came up as well, with the huge red (!) on the dashboard display. Car started okay today and after 15m drive, "only" EPC and EML came on.
Today I've removed a few bits, so I can get to the breather pipe for better look.
With some effort, eventually both end of the top-hose came off. See pics. Found a few surface cracks, nothing major but I'll tape them up, AND to my surprise the hose inside is covered in some goo. Bottom parts feels the same and around the sensor inn the middle too, I cleaned as much as I could reaching down with cotton buds. It should be all dry, I assume.
I'm gonna clean the top-pipe throughout.
Questions: 1-How does the bottom of the full pipe connects, so I can check that too? Red arrow on pic. Feels like a plastic ring on bottom around it, not a "push & pull" like the top-part.
2-What can cause the breather pipe to be full of wet dirt?
Any other useful info would be appreciated, thanks.
