What a wonderful day, location, cars and the star of the show, the company. Sadly we need to depart after breakfast tomorrow (today now - slow typing) due to unforeseen circumstances, so we shan’t make day two.

In essence:
  • An amazing concept by Graham @spike, thank you so much for the behind the scenes legwork to make this possible.
  • Thanks to T @Teresa, for impeccable organisation, procurement of food and hard graft in the kitchen to feed us all. An accolade shared with Tamara @wills and Gary, T’s partner. Also recognition to my son Kieran for helping out and not eating until everyone else was fed; proud of you son (aged 11).
  • To Ian, @Proghound for ferrying all of the A2OC social kit, gazebo, flags, tables etc…
  • To Tom @timmus for his absolute impeccable diligence and time spent to improve and fix members cars at the expense of his involvement in some of the social activities.
  • To everyone; for simply being you, great companions, friends, family (old and new), and for the great time spent talking Audi’s finest and so much more.
This community is what makes A2 ownership an absolute joy and privilege, and is what cements memories that will last a lifetime. It was epic to see some old friends and to make new friends in equal measure.

Myself and my family look forward to more of the same to come; thanks a million for a great experience. ??

Just arrived home in darkest Surrey. What a fabulous day it was, superb cars obviously - and fantastic to get the colour storm group shot, a spectacular drive through the dales, but most of all such a great welcome and wonderful atmosphere. Enough to make me wonder whether I should sell Gracie after all, but I’ll have to reflect on that in the cold light of day… ?

Keep Gracie. You will never be able to get the history it has with your family back again. If I had bought one new it would stay for good. It was lovely to meet you. And thank you for letting me finally see a Silver storm

It was a pleasure ?. At the moment I’m thinking I’ll leave the sale in the hands of fate, however my wife is leaning on me to keep her. It would make us rather unpopular with the neighbours if I did!

A great day yesterday at the meet in Richmond, all very nice people and made very welcome Timmus did the impossible and got my my radio working in franki and did a full update on all electrics showing me all the things on the dash I never knew how to work . The knowledge Timmus has is unbelievable.hope to see you all again

Lovely to see your car in the flesh. Sliver and black is such a great combo.

Norfolk contingent are home. I hope everyone had a safe journey (and that people who wanted it, got lunch - there seemed to be much polishing of cars going on when we left ?)
Thank you to everyone who came. It was fabulous to be together again. Huge thanks to @spike for suggesting.
I'm a bit tired after the drive today, so will put photos and paypal details up tomorrow.
In the meantime, here is a link to the great video Gary took of some of us convoying out this morning ?
