Please all READ the full post before asking about cables. It is clear the process to abide by and contacting Rick directly HAS NOT TO BE DONE. Once your group for the orders is in progress Rick @Rickmeister will be in touch with you.
Rick is invaluable in getting us parts from Germany so PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE HIS HELPFULNESS.

Hi cable hunters. I shall be distributing list 3 orders when Rick sends them to me, I will also be sending some of the list 4 orders. No need to contact me…… I shall contact you when I receive the order from Rick.

Ok, groups 3 and 4 are locked. If you have a mail from me, your order is secure.
The order will be placed and you all will be getting an email from AT and the order confrmation.
Many thanks to @JavaGreen for help with UK distribution it's very much appreciated.

I think this thread is getting too long now and it's easy to jump in on page nine without reading all of it. I may change the announcement for the next order to a separate thread so everyone gets a fair run to reply. Lets see.

Once this is all processed then it's on to groups 5 + 6. Again, patience please and I'll be in touch.

missed this, I was not notified by @tdi, or message or email. I check the first page regularly and it hasn't changed from awaiting. could users be alerted if action is needed, and can the status on page 1 be changed to "email Rick now" . I will contact Rick and see what my options are.

Excuse my ignorance, i have read the whole thread however am i correct any future blocks of 10 are to be sent direct to individuals or was that simply an idea?
Will a 7th go ahead? Has there been any interest?

I can add a List 7 at Post #1 if need be, just let me know if you with to be included.

To keep costs down Rick is sending the bulk orders to a single UK member who will further distribute them the the names on the list within the UK.

Could you just confirm the total price delivered to my door please?
Just wondering if its worth inspecting first? Perhaps @A2Steve @Ami @Clackers could confirm it they ever remove this cable assembly from a 20 year old car in good servicable condition or is that rare?

@Howey I have removed one from a 2002 car in excellent condition, but the car had only done 56 k miles.

Hi Howey,

I'm sure I paid roughly £56 delivered to me but could be a few £s out. This actual thread was created/splintered from this thread that Steve @A2Steve first started.

Have a read through the link to understand why this cable is being purchased as a preventative measure.

This is the cost of sending the bulk order to a single member here in the UK. Tracked or untracked should be easy enough to work out and Rick will let us know which service he has used so far. There is an additional postage charge which is collected by the receiving member to send the items out to the individuals on the list.

If it helps, the additional cost of postage within the UK for me came to £3.85 first class signed for Royal mail, so its very acceptable.

From memory like Tom has mentioned the postage of the 10 item sent to the UK was shared amongst 10 members, sorry if I am repeating anything Tom has already mentioned, just trying to help guys.
