Audrey threw an engine light today - a quick scan with the colour DIS reveals the MAF sensor has failed. Luckily I have a new genuine Audi one I bought cheap off eBay “just because”!

So now I have this plus the cam position sensor to change at the impending next oil service. It’s the latter I’m thinking will be the bigger job - can anyone tell me what’s involved?

Hi guys, so I've been sorting a leaking coolant issue out, post above, and I've found the cause.
The top oil cooler pipe, L shape connector broke into half, so it didn't seal properly anymore.
032121111 part number. As temporary fix I'll get heat and water resistant glue, and try to glue it back later this afternoon.

Today I...... fitted the load cover, sunvisor and right side tail light lens, as supplied by @A2Steve . Having bought second hand bits of the internet before, I was crossing all fingers and toes. No problems though - Everything was really clean, undamaged and fitted perfectly! Thanks Steve!!!

That’s Steve for you. Steve sends parts to the tip that others would happily sell

Hi guys, as to my post above, what heatproof and waterproof glue do you recommend to fix the broken coolant pipe? Halfords glues only good up to 80C. Cheers

I've changed the temp sensor as it used to bouncy 80-90C for years, but now, it takes longer to reach 70 and very slowly hit 80. No more. It actually starts going toward 70 again. So that's toast as well. It was a Febi and to be honest it was on the shelf for a long time, not sure that could've affected it or not.
Old - new

Can someone recommend a working G62 temp sensor please? Cheers

Edit: I've ordered a Hella 059 919 501 A, hopefully gonna work good.
