Thanks Dave, Gary just reminded me about last year at the CB Inn,. Where I'd sorted everyone's food out, but forgot to sort ours! 😳

As always, impeccable organisation T. Yet another event that I cannot make, but you know why and I appreciate your understanding.

I hope the sun shines on you all and the event is the usual success. Such a timely event that aligns with celebrating the life of Graham, aka Spike.

Safe travels one and all.

If I picked correct Richmond, it may be a bit wet 😏🌞🚿

Just a quick shout out for assistance for anybody attending this meeting that will be travelling back to the Midlands area.

Back in April I offered some FOC parts to any interested members, donp38 put his name forward for a steering wheel.

A planned rendezvous unfortunately did not take place and postage really isn't an option because of the airbag.

If anybody can assist I am sure Brian would be willing to collect or meet to pick up this item from the Midlands area.

The wheel is boxed.

I'm bringing my polishing kit with me so anyone attending the social with light scratches /scuffs /paint transfer or faded /swirly glosscoat is welcome to a free makeover. General rule here is that any scratches that can't be felt with your fingernail can be polished out or certainly made much better.

A fairly busy itinerary so likely the evening time is when I could do this. Total geek. Seldom so content than when I've a dual action machine polisher in my hands. There's worse hobbies 🤣🤣🤣❤️

Afternoon,

I’m more than happy to collect and hold the steering wheel for Brian @donp38 if he’s happy to collect from 2Work Towers. He certainly knows where I am as he so kindly delivered a rear electric window kit a couple of months the ago.

Kind regards,

Tom

Thanks Tom, hopefully Brain will see this thread although I have messaged him directly. Look forward to seeing you at the weekend.

Regards

Ian

Many thanks Gents.
No problems at all Brian,

More than happy to help out. I'll take that as a yes for me to collect the steering wheel from Ian @in9999 this weekend.

Of note, I'm heading over to Swindon for a few days next week, maybe a possible meet up along the way there or on the way back. Let's move to PM if this is of interest to you.

Kind regards,

Tom

The Storm is packed ready for the journey up tomorrow

I'm bringing the Club event shelter, so there will be somewhere under cover to sit on your camping chairs or picnic blankets in the event of rain. I've also packed the tables, gas burner, kettles & supplies for making tea and coffee. If anyone has a second gas burner we can use, I have spare cartridges we can put in it. I'll get milk as close as possible to our arrival on Friday since it won't keep for too long out of a refrigerator, and bring more each morning.

As usual the Shop will also be with me, all the items currently in stock are available at their basic prices before postage. I can take cash or PayPal.

Safe journeys everyone and looking forward to seeing you all :)

Gary and I will also have our little stove with us. We will have our refrigerated box and we could refreeze our ice packs last time, so we will bring Milk Ian

Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anyone going to the social this weekend has a spare N/S/F wheel arch liner and if so would they mind taking it with them 🤔

It's maybe a big ask but if you don't ask you don't get 😊

Thanks,
Iain
