1.4 petrol cam belt & water pump

Well this may shock you all but my new a2 being delivered Tuesday is 18 years old this Oct ...never had a cambelt kit with 13k from new it’s being driven down to me 540 miles ... I hope it arrives ok ..I would not have chanced it personally ..but fingers crossed .

Have a feeling you'll be ok but fingers crossed all is fine.

Ours was the same on the 1.4 BBY never changed in 15 years when we had it done and still on the Contitech factory fitted belt.Get your man to check the belt as it comes of what make it is.
