1.4 TDI 75. front caliper brake hose banjo bolt? Is it M10 x1?

I received front brake hoses which are all good except they both came with wrong banjo bolts. They won't fit into caliper.

Does anyone know the proper size for front brake hose caliper banjo bolts? Is it M10 X1 ?

Thank you

I would be worried about changing a banjo bolt to a different size. Not sure where you would get one from?
M10 * 1 is the first tap I go for when correcting brake threads. But that is not to say it is correct.

You can get any size and pitch you want from ebay. They come with the washers as well
I think they are 10x1 but I'm not 100% sure.

I’ve taken a look on 7zap just to be sure I’m not confusing brands and to check. Unfortunately the screw is not listed separately.
Run a bleed nipple down to check for M10. afer that still be careful substituting the supplied banjos.

What I'll do. I just buy some new copper washers and keep the old banjo bolts until next hose replacement in couple of years.

on this close up schematic for the caliper itself there is a 10x1 part referred to as a "breather valve"

don't know if it is appropriate though.
Yes that's it. Old audi A3s rear brake calipers have 10x1 which might be the same as for A2s. I'll get one and compare. Thank you.
