Just done this a couple of days ago. In short:

1. Remove everything needed until you get to the fuel rail/lower manifold.
2. This might include the high-pressure fuel pump, egr pipe, etc. I removed everything as I did the rear main coolant pipe too.
3. The fuel rail will need a good pull. You will feel the o-rings holding it in place.
4. Remove the phosphor bronze adaptors from the inejctors (some could be stuck on the rail).
5. Then you are left with the injectors on the head.
6. Start slowly by rotating left to the right and a slight pull. Don't pull too hard because they can break. Use a mirror to check on your progress.
7. You can try and use two flat-head screqdrivers on the tabs on either side of the injectors to slightly pry them out after you have made some progress in step 6. You might be able to get a puller depending on where you are and make things easier.

You will need a good clean and a set of new o rings, o ring retainers, and teflon rings before putting evreything back on.
