[1.6 FSI Knock Sensor wiring] - Wire colour and position

Hi,

Can someone tell me the wire colour/connector position for the knock sensor on the 1.6 please.

The one on mine disintegrated and I do not know where each colour will go.

I have a replacement connector to make the repair.

Good Afternoon Evros,

In case you ask, from memory there is a 3rd wire in the loom to G61 that ends before the connector, shown in the above wiring diagram, (the brown that ends at the unusual dotted rectangle). Some kind of earth shielding I think.

Yes, two core screened cable, screen to earth.

Thank you all.

It is indeed white and brown. However I will not strip it back to check. The rest of it is in good condition. The pins are fine too.

I am currently waiting on a thermostat housing/pipe because the one I have will not seal anymore. Got em both from motointegrator.de.
