12v socket loose contact

Installed my new dab radio unit which plugs to the 12v socket. All is working fine but the connection to the socket is loose. In the morning I plan on squeezing the internal prongs as a starting point but suspect I may need to swap it, or at least remove it to clean itup. Any ideas on how it comes out?

Could the the length of the centre prong, try unscrewing the housing of the connector (on the device you are plugging in) this will lengthen the connector slightly then see if it’s still loose
