1997 Frankfurt Motor show Press Pack for the Al2

Ive just managed to purchase this piece of iconic A2 history for a mere £29 It is the press information pack from the stand at the 1997 Frankfurt motor show. Included in the aluminium & perspex framed holder are 8 x A5 glossy colour photos of the Al2, 4 x A4 information cards, 8 x Kodak negatives and an 18 page document on the Al2 design study. It's in remarkable condition and I have never seen anything quite like it.

Love this sort of thing, i have a big collection of Audi press kits brochures etc, sadly only 1 A2, so this sort of thing is right up my street. So a big wow from me and just a little bit of jealousy in the nicest possible way. I take it you found it on ebay? Well worth the price and a superb find. Need to find one myself but i get fed up looking, did loads of it 10 plus years ago and sort of had my fill but wold love this.

It's my absolute pleasure. This information needs to be out in the public domain for all enthusiasts to enjoy. Hopefully when my A2 is back on the road I'll be able to come to some meet ups and bring this pack along so people can enjoy it in all its glory. Its an amazing piece of history which needs to be shared.

Unfortunately not. Its currently SORN so I still need to arrange a mobile VCDS scan. If there is anyone near Leeds who can do this for me then please get in touch.

Yes, the joys of eBay. I was actually looking for a 2000 launch brochure to compliment my A2 but couldn't find one when I stumbled across this gem!
