Hi can anyone tell me the size and pitch of this bolt, I've recently changed the front right abs sensor but have managed to somehow lose it.

I'm currently holding it in plaice with a old screw but the metal rim around the sensor where the bolt feeds through is not making contact with the screw or the top of the hub, hence the ABS warning light is still coming on. assuming because there is no contact between the screw and metal ring & hub, the light is still appearing

Thanks Shaper

Thank you RAB, would you also know if contact has to be made between the metal outer ring on the sensor, and the hub i.e. a electrical connection.

Thanks

I doubt it sure abs sensor is a two pin connector
but if the sensor is not held near to the pickup ring then the abs light will come on

Thanks Depronman

I should have been clearer, here's a description of the one I have replaced
it defiantly a 2 pin.

Does the brass insert, need to be in contact with the hub metal, forming a earth
connection to work correctly?.

I always swap these out for stainless steel allen or torx cap bolts. Saves that will it loosen, will it shear drama .
Think the insert is just to stop overtightening of the bolt to maintain the correct clearance to the hub magnet.
