2005 1.4tdi 75bhp

I have bought a 2005 1.4tdi 75bhp a2. It has a separate egr valve. does anyone know if it has the later gearbox with the higher 5th gear and a dmf fitted. It has drum brakes on the rear.

No, it will be a BHC engine car with solid flywheel and standard ratio box.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t know they still made 75bhp cars when they made the 90 bhp model.

I think it was the 90 that was phased out before production stopped and the 75 went on to the end - but someone will be along here to correct me I'm sure.
You'll get plenty of good advice on this forum so don't hesitate to ask.

The 90 was run from late 2003 up until 2005 when production ended. The 75 was used throughout production changing from the AMF to BHC code when it went to a watercooled egr system in early 2004 (on 53 plate).
