Well after 3 years and 94,000 miles it’s time to say good buy to my A2 1.4TDI.
Just thought you might like to hear my comments.

Best bits:
Averaging 72 MPG on a 200 mile trip to London
Travelling 800 miles in one day to the French Alps
Amazing ability to swallow the contents of a trip to Ikea
Or a Dishwasher plus 200 house bricks
31,000 miles between servicing, Only 5 days of the road in 3 years
Stopping next to an A Class at the lights and giving them a smile.

Worst bits.
Audi increasing the fuel tank size two weeks after mine was delivered
Punctures and tyre availability
Bumpy ride avoid those speed ramps
The DIS showing I have zero miles to go for at least 40 miles (I haven’t tried any further)
That rear screen, if Audi are so clever why can’t they make a rear wiper

What would I do for a Version 2?
Make the tank the standard 55ltr
Make the car 15% bigger with 3, 3 point rear belts
Add a rear wiper

What next?
I am going for the A3 Sportback 1.9TDI

Another member of the unofficial 'I had an A2 but now have an A3 Sportback' club. Any reason why you have gone for the 1.9 TDi?

Spoil yourself.
Get a 2.0 TDI DSG. You know you want to!

NEVER attempt a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
A2 1.4 SE TDI replaced with A3 2.0TDI DSG, the transmission of the future - today.

Must admit i have a budget for a company car and the 2.0 TDI
Would mean no 5 spoke alloys, bose, DIS, etc..
So it has to be the 1.9 plus an extra 4mpg (it all adds up).
