Hey guys/girls

For the bcb engine swaps out there

Has any1 put a six speed box in yet,

Iv been driving it for a year now with the all mods and find quick and soon as you hit 5k it takes off again even in 5th, @1** then bottoms out as no more revs to go, so there more power to have out it so thinking 6 speed box out the mk1 lupo, or mk3 gti polo 1gen 6speed box

Tbh 6 speed box out the lupo looks more straight forward

Thoughts please.

Dennis

Hi Dennis

I had the AVY polo GTI 6 speed box on Angry Bee when i owned it (now with George Hogg).

I found it to be just as close ratio, perhaps even moreso than the 5 speed aua gearbox.

Hey steve

Ohh did you well that answers that question then, well have to look into the polo gen mk1 6speed then

Lupo GTI polo didn’t have a 6 speed and a different bolt pattern, they are also known for exploding

The aua is a standard bolt pattern used on the small block VAG cars, which is 02S I believe could be wrong.

I think the 1.4tsi gearboxes will fit based on the bolt pattern but would need to get one side by side

FYI polo 6n2 AVY engine is cast to a 085 pattern 5 speed from the 70s
