A new way of fitting TT heated leather seats

Yesterday I, finally fitted my Mk1 Heated leather TT seats, using a new idea that allows the seats to be central & not offset, no welding just 10.9 tensile bolts also the seats sit at the same height as the SE version but will lower. (My preference as I like a high seat position). Hopefully will get round to a "How to" at some stage.

Interesting.

What’s the rationale for the swap? Are the TT seats more comfortable than A2 sports seats with lumbar, or is it that they’re more freely available in heated leather?

Waiting for the How to :)

Would like to see photos of the inner rear and how you worked around that.

Like this Steve. 20 x 40mm box. Mark out centre pop small drill working through the sizes saw through the chain drilling and file flush, drop in box section with top hole opened to take the head of the screw through it. 9mm hole at the bottom. TT runners are narrower so position, mark and drill for nuts & bolt (fiddley but doable, that's why I was after some extra seat bolts and inserts from you if you had them) mark out fronts onto box when in position and drill and bolt up. 342mm between front and rear holes give or take.
Measure 3 times drill once 🤣🤣🤣. I'm going to do the passenger side again as I improved on it when I did the drivers yesterday.
Cheers Stan.

I saw a post on here talking about fitting the TT seats and there seemed to be more available & cheaper than A2's. Just need Timmus to work his magic and we should have some heat for winter & cruise control, then sort the OSS out.
Then enjoy as my daily runner.
