Hi!
Let me share with you my 7 trips story to the Audi service shop...
1st visit:
Some time ago i've made a complaint about some things, namely:
- Noise on the dashboard
- Noise on gearbox (vibration)
- Noise on left-front window
- Noise on right-back electric window engine
- Windscreen washers not correctly regulated (yes, I'm picky)
- Noise on clutch (stange noise after long trips)
Solution:
- Dashboard to be removed on next visit
- Gearbox noise was normal
- left-front and right-back electric window engines to be removed on next visit
- Windscreen washers with no change (they forgot)
- Noise on clutch, not reproductable by them, so no change
2nd Visit:
This visit was to repair the dashboard.
All the other problems were reported again.
Solution:
- Dashboard noise remain unchanged, still after complete deassemble
- All other problems remaind unchanged, but now the electric engines were not to be replaced (an amazing job of remote analysis by them... without analyzing the problem between the visits the solution was changed... calibration schedule to the next visit).... AMAZING!!!
3rd visit:
An Audi inspector visit to the local Audi service was schedule to analyse the dashboard. Again all other problems remained.
Solution:
- Dashboard problem solved (finally)
- All other problems remaind + Radio unit very loose (when acceleration the unit jumped out) + plastic cover on dashboard broken (from the gear stick metallic ring to the bottow of the dashboard)
4th visit:
- 15.000 km service + all other problems
Solution:
- Radio reattached
- Next plastic cover to be installed on next visit
5th visit:
- Install the new plastic thing
Solution:
- Done (still all other problems to be solved, except the windscreen washers that I calibrate after seeing on the internet how to)
6th visit:
- 30.000km service + problems
- Now the gear box was even worst... vibrates in neutral. Very noticable.
Solution:
- A new visit to be schedule with the famous Audi inspector
7th visit:
The Audi inspector cames. At the end of the day the Audi service guy called me saying the inspector is not a gear box specialist and the mechanics were looking at the gearbox. (So why did they bother to wait for the inspector?!?!?) A problem report was to be created to the Audi importer. I had to wait.... AGAIN!!!!
More, while adjusting the left front window, a new plastic was broken.. now a lot of wind enters the car next to the side mirror.
Should I wait for the 8th visit???
My first one was July 2003, and the last one was one week ago...
I dont thing so...
So I'm trying to write a complaint letter to Audi back in Inglostadt...
Does any knows their address?
Please help me!
