A2 Footrest TT Style Slot Infills

Paul,

I have some windscreen adhesive remaining from the Votex Spoiler fitting.

This could be used to fill in the ‘A2’ but before I make make a mess can j have your thoughts on producing infills for the ‘A2’. Not quite so high or what ever is easiest.

Kind regards,

To

I don't think it will be possible as the printer will not e able to produce a sharp corner are used in the A2 text

Paul,

I think they’re good as they are. They just look taller that the 2mm footrest when I thought they were going to be protruding 1.5mm. They only look too tall to me as I have well used TT Pedals fitted and the rubber is almost flush with the metal.

I’m sure once correctly glued in they will be secure, they really do look good.

Shame about the A2 infill. Windscreen adhesive it is. I’m sure tigerseal or domestic black silicone will be just as good.

Kind regards,

Tom

Your TT pedals are going to look rather second hand against the new foot rest :)

I've ordered another role of black PLA filament - Amazon is your friend when you need it in a rush - should be delivered tomorrow

could have offered them in different colours had I realised that PLA was going to be used - I have red and blue in stock

Keep it a black for me sir.

Once you work our who’s infills are being sent to me just ping me a PM or transparent on this thread and I’ll keep their package here until said infills arrive.

Packages will start their journey tomorrow as I have the day set aside for this task.

Kind regards,

Tom

There is a German seller on eBay selling genuine new TT RHD replacement pedals as a set. ~£40 Plus postage. £50 all in if you’re looking for a new set to match the footrest

you are very naughty, tempting Tom in a such a way :)

latest update on post 20
The 13th set will be coming of the printer any min now, another 4 sets will be printed tonight.
This is going to be a slower job than I expected as the print time is near double what it was estimated to be

Good evening everyone,

09:00 tomorrow morning is the cut off for Paul to send me the infills to accompany your footrest in the same parcel.

After 09:00 tomorrow morning I will be in the local Hermes shop for an hour sending all the footrests that aren’t waiting for Paul’s incredible infills.

I will be using the list Paul has been updating in Post #20. If your name is not on there by 09:00 tomorrow morning then your footrest(s) will start it’s journey to you without infills.

These infills be available for as long as they’re needed, this will be here on this thread or via PM to Paul, the usual manner in which we all currently purchase the wonderful things he creates.

Paul @depronman, I will check in tomorrow morning then make my way to the Hermes shop once I’ve completed the school run.

Don’t stay up too late with your hard working printer!

Kind regards,

Tom

All,
I'm on holiday this week so have no need to be up at the crack of dawn for work. I will call the list of insert to go to Tom (2work) at 10pm tonight (5th Oct 2020) as I don't intend being up earlier enough in the morning to add any more names to the list on post 20 such that Tom can start packaging to get to the myherms drop off shop for 9am
You can of course still order from me for direct delivery to your home address
Printing will have to come to stop in about an hour as I have run out of filament. Another role is on order and should arrive tomorrow (please Mr Amazon)
So that is 16 sets in total printed, mine plus 15 sets to go to Tom. I will print the ones going to Tom first as this will let him get the 'held back from posting' foot rest sent. I am aiming to get the box of infills sent outto Tom on Thursday / Friday this week, barring any disasters
I will then start on individual orders for sending to people direct

Cheers,
Paul

Nice pictures of the infills being produced. I do like it when a man knows just how to look after the mrs toothbrush...?

Thanks from me for that link too. I decided yesterday that the Storm could do with a new pedal set to go with its wonderful footrest and infills. Its current worn set can be cascaded down onto my Cobalt one which is also now getting a set of Tom & Paul's marvellous creations.

Haha...I did the same!!! Think my wife is getting fed up of the constant trickle of packages arriving ?

Ho yes she can’t have a new tooth brush until I’ve broken it in. I find 3 months on the 3D printer then another couple of months in the parts washer does the trick nicely.
