They certainly tick the boxes
Light weight
Roomy interior
Room to fit batteries - fuel tank area , under false floor in boot
Fitting of batteries would not adversely affect weight distribution as A2 is a little light on the back end anyway, obviously depends on motor weight and controller v engine / rad being removed from engine bay

I was paying for fuel last year and the lad at the counter said 'Is that one of those new hybrids?'

My local wheel refurbishment specialist also thought mine was electric. Then, when parked outside the local Audi dealer, somebody asked the sales team 'How much is the little E-Tron...?!' Clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I realise mine is never going to be worth anything and sadly none of my family will be seen dead in it, but i love the quirky, boxy and innovative aluminium design which makes it such an acknowledged automotive design classic. Let's all polish, drive and love 'em while we can...
