A2 in Audi Museum Ingolstadt

Just got back from an Audi event including a trip to the museum in Ingolstadt. Great to see a number of A2s on display including pride of place in an aerodynamics exhibition alongside such company as the Lamborghini Countach and Porsche 356. Needless to say the rest of the group were curious as to why I was so excited about seeing the A2 in its 'home' environment.

There are plans being made for an official 25 years since the A2 went on sale event at Ingolstadt next year. They couldn't give me exact dates as yet but will keep me informed.

Manufacturing is starting to use AI design and robots to build products.
What would it create if given the brief the A2 designers worked towards realising.
Its a functional car that delivers creativity, aesthetics, handling, cabin space and economy.
They set many benchmarks with the A2.

Its well worth celebrating

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a new A2 concept debut in 2025, one that is actually destined for production this time. Audi is planning a new small car and with its commitment to making even-numbered cars electric, seems a given that it will be an EV. They could do something that is in no way related to the original in terms of what you mention @rotifer II but I get they feeling from discussions that they might.
