A2 with no bonnet

I was travelling through Somerset today when coming the opposite way on the dual carriageway I’m 100% sure I saw an A2 with no bonnet The car was blue but not a blue ive seen before. Can anyone back this up or am I just really tired ?

I've driven my A2 without bumper cover or bonnet several times. Didn't want to put it back together before a good road test. You really do get some strange looks.
So I wouldn't be surprised myself to see one without a bonnet.

Yeah but this was on a major west to east road I’m sure it was the 303. It was so windy. If he’s lost or damaged his and anyone knows him I have a bonnet he can have for free.

The 303 through Somerset and round here in east Devon is a hotbed of A2 activity! There are still many in daily use by non-enthusiasts as just a cheap car. I’ve noticed that cars round here are in general older than say where my parents are based in Berkshire.
