Hi Mike & Yvonne

Looking forward to this social on Sunday. Will be my first visit to this event. How does it work with the pre-paid tickets?
Are you planning a meeting point beforehand or do we need directions of where to find you?
I'm travelling from Kent on the Sunday

Thanks
Hilary

We'll join you Mike if that is okay. We are staying there and have already paid for dinner and breakfast.

Looking forward to it and hoping the glorious weather holds; though perhaps the touch of a breeze would be welcome.

Cheers,

Darren

is 2 or 4 off you Daren?

Looking forward to relaxing this evening with good friends and catching up with other good friends at VAG tomorrow.

Owning an A2 rocks in more ways than one (even the early wiper fitments agree with this statement - literally).

Safe journey to all those who are travelling to the show.

As always a fantastic social with some lovely people. VAG at the Manor is one of my favourite shows of the season; a great backdrop, a good representation of VAG classics: vintage and more modern, lots to see and do and it is a family friendly affair catering for the kids too. It is also a fantastically organised event, so well-done to the organisers.

Thanks as always to Mike and Vonnie for making this another slick and well-oiled social. You make it look effortless, so a very well done. Great to meet up with everyone and to see Hilary who made a rather long journey on her own in one of the most fantastic Cherry Red examples there must be.

On behalf of me and my family; thanks a million guys and gals.

As is always the way, I get carried away with the camera - phone again this time. Some images from my collection...

Early morning photo opportunity.

I made the most of the queue getting in for a crafty pic or two...

Obligatory family selfie...

Mobility scooter powered Campers - carnage a little while later...

Thanks for the kind works - what a fab day. Thanks to you all for coming and so good to see some new faces as well as the usual suspects.

Darren your pics are great my favourite ones are the the family selfie and the line up going- it almost makes my storm look xl lol

I loved the way our club all sat together at points of the day and chatted whilst enjoying the sun shine. It was also really nice to see rossiedog and his fantastic pine green A2 with just 16k miles on the clock ! That colour looks awesome in the sun.

Darren you must start putting in for show and shine as your FSI cobalt Blue A2 is stunning.

We had a great time and now relaxing back at the hotel as yvonne is working in the office close by. So I'll be going home later ready for my work tomorrow - I'll try and upload some pics later (wish me luck as it's not easy) cheers all for coming and look forward to seeing you at the next social -kimbolton fayre in a few weeks. Mike and Yvonne

As always a big thankyou to Mike & Vonnie for Organising another excellent club social ... We had a great day looking around all the cars and catching up with friends and A2 enthusiasts alike with lovely weather to go with it.

The old tdi never missed a beat for 370 miles and think she loves the pepper pots as my mpg has reached it best ever at over 70 mpg
