Hi folks,

As mentioned elsewhere, the Audi A2 Owners' Club received ADI's Gold Award for Best Club Information 2009 at this year's ADI Gala Dinner. In additional to this our very own technical guru, Mike Hill received the Silver Award for Personality of the year 2009. This adds to our growing collection of awards from ADI - all of which are shown above.

Congratulations to Mike and to all of our club members. It's the enthusiasm, courtesy and energy around here that enables us to continue to receive this sort of recognition amongst the wider Audi community. Thanks for all the positive support during the nominations. Mike's recognition is throuoghly deserved.

Thanks should also go to everyone who came along to this year's Castle Coombe event. It was good to meet some old names & new faces. Congratulations also to relative newcomer 'true-blue' Martin for winning a year's subscription to ADI magazine.

We hope that more of you will feel able to come along to some of our forthcoming social events (keep an eye out for a2sumo's Biggleswade event at the end of November).

PS - I've refreshed our site header to reflect the A2OC-line badge logo that we have adopted. You'll also note that the 'International' bit has been dropped from the title. This is purely a cosmetic adjustment - it was unnecessarily wordy. We welcome A2 owners from all corners of the globe - and are happy to accomodate multilanguage forums when requested. :)

Congratulations to everyone who keeps this club going, and long may it continue! Congratulations also to Mike of course, great work being carried out by all.

The new logo is very smart too, it's the eye for these details take make the difference.
 
Great to see the 'missing' 2008 logos were on the discs Ben and the little refresh is a nice touch too.

The flags made the club stand really visible (not that you'd miss 30 A2s parked together!!) and gave us the professional look that other stands have had, so well done on that front too.

I've detailed my thoughts on the awards elsewhere, but suffice it to say I really love this club and the people who make it. I'm passionate about the 4 rings too and the A2 is probably the best embodiment of 'Vorsprung....' to date, encapsulating all that is good about the brand - let's hope that the new A2 carried on the tradition when it arrives.

Yes Ben the facelift is a nice touch and as said before all the awards together as well, the club flags this year looked great

Many many congrats for the awards everybody! Extremely well done!!

This clubs cameraderie between members is just brilliant, and really makes it enjoyable to be part of. When awards like these are won it is the icing on the cake!!

Well done everyone. We should all give ourselves a pat on the back.
