A2steve’s Used Parts service

You need to specify if the key you need as the suffix letter or not
Audi changed the carrier frequency and added the suffix letter to the end of the key fob part number. If you have the wrong one for your cccu it will never work

Has anyone has a spare key fob you can sell?
I bought key fob shell of eBay seller and I have cut key to my car.
I bought another key fob they say it is same but inside circuit board may not be working. I bought separate immobiliser chip to go with it.

CCCU ending AE and AF need the suffix letter
All other a no suffix letter

Anyone got good used Genuine Audi Exhaust sections for 2003 1.4 SE Petrol please ? Got a good used Genuine Audi Manifold Catalytic Convertor from you ( Paul ) Depronman some time ago. Had it fitted to get through MOT Emissions last September but Exhaust is blowing somewhere else now.

@A2Steve

I'm heading down to Pembroke from Peterborough tomorrow in my A2 for work. Not a massive detour for me to collect.

I could do with a hard touch passenger window switch if you've got one.

I'm also after a tidy set of wheels if you have any.

A friend is also after a black front bumper.

There's probably some other bits that I'll remember on the way too.

I have a hard-touch passenger switch, but no wheels at the moment or black front bumper sorry.

We currently all have covid and are isolating until the weekend, so probably best that I post out the switch. Let me know if there are any other bits you need.

Ok, I'll message you later on.

No luck with Exhaust Parts then ? Took it to Westgate Tyres Morecambe yesterday about 5 O`Clock. Had a look. Said Pipe was gone just in front of Centre Silencer. They could weld a new Box in this afternoon. Unfortunately it went completely on the way home in the dark, so it was hanging down on the road. Tried to tie it up this morning to drive it back to Westgate this afternoon. Ended up taking the whole section off to stop any further road damage. Its going to be a very noisy, unsilenced drive back there in a mo !

Sorry I didn’t reply because I thought you were asking the general community vi this thread. I haven’t got any 1.4 petrol exhaust parts sorry.

That’s going to be a very noisy drive back.

It was Deafening ! Wished I had Ear Defenders on. Anyway, it’s done now. New Silencer Box and Pipe welded in at Westgate Tyres yesterday afternoon. They phoned this morning to say it is ready to collect. £150

Morning all

Hermes have failed to collect a number of parcels this month and also lost a couple of higher value items. I will be refunding the customers of these items but due to the ever deteriorating level of service they offer, I will no longer be able provide refunds on lost items travelling via the Hermes network.

When offering items for sale, they will have a ‘postage from’ price quoting Hermes but this will be as a non-guaranteed delivery. I will offer the option of fully protected postage using a different carrier.

Sorry to have to do this, but having used them for a number of years, their service levels have reached an all time low.

Many thanks

Steve

Just as a little update to this, i've been in negotiation with Parcelforce and by next week I should have a 24hr service in place that will be suitable for the majority of items sold via the forum for £6.95. Although this is £1.83 per item more than Hermes I think the speed and reliability is well worth the extra.

Just a quick out of office message.

I'll be on holiday from tomorrow evening until Saturday 24th for a well earned family holiday.

If you do not receive a response to a pm during this time, please do not think me rude, i'm just unlikely to be accessing the site.

Thanks all
