A3 S-line seats?

Morning Howey,
Yes the seats from the A3 8L are certainly narrow enough to fit into the A2, with suitable mounting point adapters of course. I understand it that the brackets aren’t too different that the TT adapters but have no personal experience. Someone like Bob @Jellybean has fitted both TT and A3 seats so worth having a chat with him.
The 8L seats come in a couple of varieties up to the very nice Recaro’s that Hef @Hef fitted into Project Peperarmi:
Here’s some background reading going back in time when this modification was first discussed. A bit more reading on this link also. You’ll find a lot of information about adding these and TT/A3 seats to the A2 if you have the time to sift through internet search results.
There are quite a few members who have completed this modification now that might be willing to give an honest appraisal. Additionally there are members who have had them fitted and since reverted back to A2 seats who might join in the discussion with reasoned feedback.
