A4 Concert Stereo

Apologies if this has been asked before. I could find a thread with the usual google search plus a2oc.

Just wondering if the concert ii stereo out of an Audi A4 will fit in the a2 single din dash?

That depends...
The fascia from the A4 unit will NOT fit the A2. However if you have the fascia from an A2 unit then swap them over and the unit will work.

The rears are all the same just different fascias used to fit the dash shape.

I see no reason why it will not work even if you have to swap the fascia. A trivial inconsequence is a VCDS scan using Autoscan set to the A2 model may will treat the radio as aftermarket and not want to know!
