ABS Fault Codes

Hi, does anyone have any thoughts on my ABS faults? I have looked up what they mean separately but maybe together it is more obvious what the fault is. The supply voltage terminal 30 and brake pressure sensor 1 are what worry me. The rest are all wheel sensor faults. The lights on the dash come on after I start driving, along with a beeping noise. Just looking for ideas on where to start. Thanks.

I had an intermittent abs/esp fault with the beeps and dash like a Christmas. Touch wood the brake light switch cured it

Thanks I'll try changing that it seems to be mentioned a lot, then I will change the g201 if that doesn't fix it. I'm just hoping it's not the control module. I should probably do some investigation of the wiring first to make sure it's all connected properly.

Trouble is the G201 is an integral part of the mk60 abs module but I would imagine you could get a second hand unit and swap other the electronic side, not sure if they are coded you see, so only in effect replace and bleed the mechanical part

Ah ok I never realised that, I had to get the difficult one . I'll try the brake light switch then, fingers crossed.

Same problem I had but it took ages before the car generated a brake light implausible fault (glow plug light flashing as well as and ones) hoping I have fixed mine now as it's been a few months without issue.
Believe it's possible to have the mk60 repaired with lifetime warranty but the brake light switch has to be the starting point

I'll check the codes again and do some more investigation today, hopefully will get the switch replaced next weekend. Glow plug light isn't flashing on mine interestingly.

The light started flashing just after I had noticed the brake lights not working but seems it was the cause of the abs fault lights

An update on this, I changed the front wheel sensors and cleared the codes. I realised I hadn't actually cleared the codes properly before because VCDS lite unregistered doesn't seem to do it from the auto scan. This stopped the lights from coming on.

I later tested the brake lights and noticed that intermittently they didn't light so I also replaced the switch. Touch wood it seems to be working now, no lights in 250 miles since last Sunday. Now I need to look into my MAF fault.

With VCDS Lite, registered or not, there is no facility to clear all codes in one click, as you can with a pukka (but expensive) version. With Lite you have to clear errors, controller by controller.
Mac.
