Only the abs light? Do you have any other fault showing a red circle on the DIS for example?

Have you got a code reader?

The brake light was on but isn't now, only ABS light, I haven"t got a code reader so I shall have to let the garage have look for me. Many thanks for your time, I am just a private motorist, not much knowledge of modern cars, thanks again, wheels.

Help warning on dash & loud beep

So I was driving along took a right turn then this warning sign came on the dash along with a loud beep 3 times? I done a scan but came up with nothing, it was totally clear with no codes! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

The software, VCDS, is free. A lead (Blue KKL) is under a fiver on ebay. You'll need a laptop (nothing special, Windows XP, 7 or 10). If you're not a tekie, find a friend who is to install it, and set it up. It'll help you, and help us to help you!

No, completely legit. The download is from the official Ross- Tech site, and is a limited functionality version. Fine for basic troubleshooting. Only for pre 2005 vag cars. Good for us!
