AC compressor noise

Hi peeps. I need a little help with a noise i`ve got comming from my ac compressor on my 1.4 TDI. Originally i thought it was the auto tensioner on the belt its self making the dry bearing squeeky noise (is the best way i can describe it) but after changing that yesterday the noise is still there.I`ve now narrowed it down to the ac compressor after playing with the eco mode button on the climate control panel.button on no noise,button of annoying intermittent squeeky noise.
can anyone shed any light on this for me? new ac compressor?
