Information Advice about selling or parts?

Hi all, i have a question to all??
I bought a 1.4tdi (75) bhc sport (£1100) a couple of years ago which was a little unloved and run it as a second car until, recently coming toward MoT time, i decided to replace the front suspension and brakes.
I looked around these areas and bought a few parts but when getting under the car to start prepping to carry out the work realised how bad and howmuch money i would have to spend to replace all the parts involved...
At this point i have to say that i had bought another A2 that is in much better condition bodily which is the same colour and bhc 1.4tdi 75 sport..
The question i have is do i sell the car with an MoT, or parts car, or do i take and store the parts that i think i may need for the future and offer the rest of the car for parts to other owners...

I am in this very dilemma myself. I like you have bought a better version of what I already have so would be an ideal spares car. The 'old' one is due its MOT next week so I think I'll let the tester decide it's fate!
You could take yours in for a pre MOT

I could take mine in for a pre MOT but i know that the front suspension,steering and brakes need an overhaul if i kept it anyway.
I've been offered £100 as it is but its worth more to me as parts seenig as though everytime i look for parts they seem to be between £50-£100.

If you have the space to store it and use parts from it as and when you need them that’s the best option. A broken down A2 is quite an unsightly sight mind you so keeping it on a driveway won’t be popular with anyone.
