air bag light stays on

I have just changed the seats on my a2tdi se for a set of sports seats after the changover the airbag light stays on .I then put back the original
seats the airbag light still stays on HELP PLEASE

You'll need to clear down the fault code with VCDS to clear the alarm.
VCDS should also be used to troubleshoot the issue, if there is one, with the replacement seat.
Once an airbag warning is present it only clears when the fault code is cleared, and when no further errors are detected.
