Air Bag Sticker on B Pillar.

I have Just noticed an air bag warning sticker on the B Pillar, near the lock hasp. Seems an odd place for it. Why is it there?
Mac.

Do you mean where the upper seat belt guide thing (which may be what you mean by "lock hasp") is Mac? If so then you have SideGuard fitted as @kp 115 says. Did you know that?

It sound as though your A2 perhaps has the ultra-rare SideGuard curtain airbag system, but I can't be sure from your description. Any chance of a photo? Is this a sticker warning people to disable the airbag for certain models of baby seat?

SideGuard would have a little Airbag badge on the upper B-pillar, above the seat belt hanger, wouldn't it? From the description, I'm reading that what Mac's found on his car is in the painted section of the door shut, external to the seals. A photo would save a thousand words of questions here I think :)

OK, here's the pic, not Uber Cool, me thinks.
Mac.

Excitement over I'm afraid. That's the (standard?) warning not to use a rear-facing child seat in the front passenger seat, because of the airbag. It refers you to the manual.

Same sticker is even on some cars ( all? ) that have the passenger airbag disable switch in the glove box.
Sadly very far from SIDEGUARD that I was hoping that you had.
