My climate control works superbly well here in Greece where it's currently 40 degrees. I run it on auto set at 20 degrees. So when I start the car the fan speed is high and gradually drops as the car cools down. However I'm curious, as the interior cools and the airflow decreases does the compressor load also decrease? In other words the compressor obviously increases engine load and therefore fuel consumption, but does that load change according to how hard the Aircon is working? I'm asking out of curiosity. At these temperatures there is no way I will switch the aicon offf just to save a bit of fuel
