Not sure, going to investigate later today just thought I'd get a few ideas to checkIs the alternator pulley ok?
The aircon compressor is belt driven, and runs all the time (no clutch). When aircon is off, the flow rate is low, and so the load on the belt is low. When the aircon is on, that load will increase. Could be the belt driving the compressor is your problem, but only shows when the load is high. Worth a look at that belt. When the AC is switched on a noise from the engine bay is heard. AC now works very well but I'd like to sort the noise out. Any pointers?
Thanks
