Alloy wheel sizes

Please excuse my ignorance if this is a silly question but does it make any difference to the ride height of the car depending on wether 15" 16" or 17" alloys are fitted,or do you just get less rubber.

All will be the same size plus or minus 1-2%, otherwise the speedo etc would all be wrong. Just gets progressively less and less comfortable. Do a google for tyre size calculator and you'll see all the circumferences of different tyre sizes
