Hi,
Can any vouch or the loose fit on the plastic air intake pipe that connects to the turbo on an amf?
It's push fit with a small oring inside the plastic tube, then two 8nm 12mm bolts. When I put it on I though this is not good, surely ot air tight enough?
I have turbo noise and low power but no smoke or anything vile like that.
Wondering if I take this pipe off again round the back and refit with ptfe wrapped on the turbo inlet casting?
Anyone any thoughts on this? Car doesn't limp, just has reduced output and horrifying jet\belt rubbing on metal kind of noise which seems to be the turbo as its linked to load not speed, and at idea there is no jet noise.
Cheers anyone
