Information Andrew

Hi gents and ladies.
Well I'm back.

Not been on here for a long time.....
Few changes in my life
Found our my 25 marriage was over due to her having an affair.
At the time I owned a Audi TT which I was forced to sell.
I then bought a BMW one series which I hate.
I now live on my own and renovating my property.
I have now bought a Audi A2 TDI sport 90.

It's currently been worked on.
I will update my progress in the current weeks.

Hopfully I can attend some A2 functions.

Thanks Andrew.

Welcome back Andrew

Sorry to hear things have worked out the way they have.

You should find the club to be a friendly place to be.

The socials are great, hope to see you at one.

Hi Andrew

Welcome back to the forum!

Hopefully your new A2 is the start of a happy future for you.

One of the socials this year is at Saltaire, Yorkshire on 22 May and it would be great to see you there.

Best wishes

Hilary

Hi Andrew,

Welcome back.

If your radio unit is just a normal size (top to bottom) then you have single DIN.

Double DIN is where the radio is twice the size (top to bottom)

Double DIN cars have the extra tray in front of the handbrake and no "Cubby hole" in the centre dash.

(Some people with single DIN fit the extra tray in front of the handbrake so that in itself is not an indication of Double Din)

Hi Andrew. Welcome back pal. Inspire by this thread I've realised I've no idea what DIN means.

Unless I'm the only ignoramus on the planet hope this also enlightens some more folk:

DIN is a standard measurement for audio head unit known as Deutsche Industrie Normal.

learn something new every day etc..

If you get yourself along to a social I'm sure you will get loads of advice and also see plenty of other mods you would like to emulate (that's posh for copy)
