Any FSI's in South Wales?

Evening all,

We have a 1.4 petrol and a 75 bhp TDI, we share the cars as a couple. And we both seem to not have bonded too much with Alun (TDI), we'll probably keep him because he is cheap to run, but honestly, our heart isnt in it, which is gutting, we loved the idea of it, but dsy to day, we both like petrol more.

SO, looking to test an FSI as thats the only one we havent tried yet! Anyone got one they would let me and my better half test drive please? South wales based, but travel to oxford fairly regularly.

You can definitely come and test drive Boris but I’m in Leicestershire :)

Not much use really, but out of interest to everyone, if in the main menu bar you click on the little drop down arrow to the right of Members you will find a link to a map of members! Not sure how up to date or out of date it is, seems very ropey for example @A2Steve near you does not appear, but I see you. Great pity, it does not inspire confidence.

If you get stuck locally for a FSI test drive I am very close to Oxford in Eynsham.

Edit. It's not got me either!

On the map if you click on a member's flag you get some details but it is 'About' that includes the A2 model .

The member-map forum feature is new to me and is potentially quite valuable to the like of us who are "foreigners" to the UK based hub (I live in Norway and would love to know which members are nearby).
I did find "myself" in the Oslo group, which is not correct, but not too far off.
Who would know how this feature is triggered and how should we get the map updated?

John, I have an FSI in Cam, between J14 n J13 on M5. Youre welcome to have a blast, but off diving tomorrow!
Will be back on the 18th if then would be any good to you?
