Any good excuses to reclaim parking ticket fee

Got one of those dreaded tickets today... was over the parking time by 10 minutes in a 1 hour parking limit... any inspirational ideas to appeal against one?
 
Robert Plant phoned to invite you to take part in a mobile phone quiz to win a ticket to tonight's Led Zep reunion - it took a long time to answer his very searching questions and, by the time he had finished with you, you could not make it back to your car in time.
 
i always appeal even if at fault do a search on goolge and theres a forum where you can enter the details and some one will tell you all the loop hole that will lket you off for your insident
 
Remember parking tickets need the date of the offence and the date of issue, both must be seperately stated on the offending piece of paper! Hope this helps, did with the wife's once!

The one is digital printout with car data on etc... first one i've had like this.

All the ones before where wrote by hand.. I think i've found that site earlier but no one replied yet...
 
my brother in law is a cop and we made up a story about pulling over "round the corner" to help an old lady who had fallen, Glasgow city council wrote us back a lovely letter thanking us for being good citizens but next time remember and park in a designated area...£30 please....haha...
