Its a 2002 1.4 tdi which starts without hesitation and ticks over all day at around 950 rpm.....the car is smooth up to 1600 rpm and then, although the turbo kicks in, it starts to stutter, as though its running out of fuel. It continues to accelerate but jerkily and even when cruising on a steady throttle, or going down hill, if the revs are above 1600 it is jerking the whole time. I have a Bluedriver Bluetooth scan tool and after a 100 mile drive today a scan revealed absolutely nothing. I have in the last few days replaced the temperature sensor, the camshaft position sensor and the injection loom with new branded parts....no Chinese junk....but non of this has made a blind bit of difference.....I'm now thinking along the lines of perhaps a turbo leak or fuel pump...I've had the sender out of the tank and cleaned it, the filters were all replaced in the last few months, but I drained the fuel filter just to check....clean as a whistle.....getting panicked now...ECU maybe on its way out ???
Can anybody help me with this please ??? Gary
