I did quite a lot of looking around before choosing the oil , the one I have put in is Q8 Formula V Long Life 5W-30 (year-round) which is recommended on there web site and meets the spec below..

On Offer at JTF.....
Problem is engine sounds Like a bag of hammers (tappets) so im going to clean the filter in the sump today as i flushed the engine at the change........ anyone any advice on what else to check? also is there an easy way to check thw oil pressure / oilways working correctly?
