AUA Oil separator

Has anyone recently replaced the hose connecting to the oil separator between the separator and the heater? I notice that it only appears to be available via Audi Tradition now. You can buy separators that come with a hose, but it looks to be the wrong shape.

Is there an OE alternative, and if not, how easy is it to pull the hose off of the connector and heater and replace it with a new piece of generic hose?

I have just done a bby version and it's just a corrugated plastic pushfit pipe, akin to the oil filler tube. That said I don't think it matters much what you use just that it's sealed air tight...

I'm in the same position. I couldn't get the hose off the separator, so ended up just changing the rubber "o" rings.

Squeeze opposite the two square hole tabs and Wiggle the connector off the unit
