Dear Members,
i had to remove my inter cooler today because the car was going in safe mode.
Inter cooler is broken and got the new part on hand.

when i removed the inter cooler, on top i saw the pressure sensor, but on bottom i saw a small place where you can actually fit a small thin rubber...(nothing was installed)
I checked the new inter cooler and it has the same thing and i don't know what connects there..( breathing rubber pipe ? )

I am attaching pics so somebody can help me with what is marked in red on the pics and what fits there.

Thank you for your time

John

Hi thanks for your replies.

Fault code was not read...the intercooler is broken on the downside...
Engine was going in safe mode due to pressure loss on intercooler...

The question was about that plastic nipple on the intercooler as in picture...
If i blow air to it...air comes out from the main hose...so it is not blocked...

Was just wondering if something is connected there...and what is the purpose of that nipple ?
shall i block it completly ?
