Audi Bluetooth Phone Kit

Well, Tank has now moved one step closer to perfection, with the addition of a genuine Audi bluetooth phone kit, which integrates perfectly with the RNS-E system.

Only need to wire in the multifunction part of the new steering wheel now for full voice control, hands-free jiggery (not to mention pokery!).

I also have another bluetooth controller for sale if anyone is interested (the deal was almost a buy one get one free offer!). Drop me a PM if you are.

Cheers,

Mike

I also have the Bluetooth in mine. It works perfectly with the RNS-E so you have something to look forward to.

What kind of steering wheel do you have in your car, since you can activate voice control on it ?

I have a new-style Audi TT multifunction wheel (see photo), so yes, I know about the voice control, although I still have to wire the multifunction buttons in.

Mike

What a blow! I've just bought a Parrot bluetooth kit from Amazon. Now all I have to do is work out how to fit it. Halfords were doing a great deal of supply+fit for £99 - but they sold out.

If anyone can recommend an installer in the Manchester area I'd be interested - particularly if they know how the A2 dash comes apart.

Skipton - notice you have an Ipaq mount installed above the right vent? Can you give me details as I am just about to get TomTom fitted on the Ipaq and currently trying to work out where to install it in the car given that the cig lighter is in a bad place. Have you hard wired - if so how/where?

Many thanks.

The bluetooth module is now sold - cheers Alan.

Foghorn, we must meet up sometime and have a chat. I could do the install for you and we can sort out your Ipaq mounting issues.

Cheers,

Mike

Incidentally - which part # BT interface were these?

8P0 862 335 C or D?

Ben

2 Ds Ben, they are 2005 model year units but work a treat, as you saw yesterday with the SE910.

Cheers,

Mike
