I've just sold my Skoda (9th most reliable) to buy an A2 (28th). I'm really pleased but I've only done 30 miles so far. The car was brother in laws and he's had it since new (2.5 years) the only problem has been 2 head light bulbs blowing.

You also have to bear in mind that more gadgets = more faults

Otherwise why are Skoda and Audi so far apart when they have the same components!

Take with large pinch of salt.

1.4 Petrol Special Edition, Ebony Black, grey leather, heated seats, climate, opensky, five spoke alloys for SWMBO (Replaced a 2002 1.4 Petrol SE) Honda Accord Tourer 2.2 iCDTi for me.

Errr it says Audi so it would be across the whole range surely. Not just A2 model but A3,A4 etc. so dont read too much into the bad result. Noticed its compiled by warranty direct wouldnt touch them any more in my opinion they are a c*** company

1.4 PETROL A2 BLACK WITH OPEN SKY AND REAR BENCH SEAT

out of interest, can anyone recommend a warranty company ? - I hear Audi themselves do not do extended warranties ?

I have just extended my warranty through a company called Mondial and it cost me £299 for a year. This warranty is on the same par as the one an Audi dealer would give on a used car. If you want further details you can email me and I will give you further info. Dont go with warranty direct as they dont cover things like sensors as I found out to my cost. see my posts in other forums

Ours was about to run out of its 3 years and we were offered the 4th year (£472) it is suppose to be to the same level of cover as the first 3 years, So our A2 will have been covered for 4 years or 60K miles

Time will tell if thay pay out - I know I did!!!!!
