Audi RS3 anyone?

Apparently Autocar is proving very popular this week with the new RS3 on its cover.

It does look like a wonderful car - but the driving license would be in constant peril with that kind of power.

For the power you get, £35K seems quite reasonable. A Ferrari 360 with 400 BHP costs over £100K. The BMW M3 with similar power costs a lot more than £35K.

Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.
Was a 1.4SE petrol. http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/uk14.htm http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/safety.htm
New A2 - Ebony Black, Red Leather, CC, Symphony + all the previous options we had.

Personally I dont associate power with price. At the end of the day its a hatchback for 35k (no thank you) - it will undoubtably sell (in small numbers), and if AUDI have sorted the handling, it could be a great track car. Also, in my opinion, you cant start comparing an effectively tuned A3 against a Ferrari 360 or even an M3 for that matter - different league and different class.

The Autocar info is a load of b*****ks. There is NO confirmation or otherwise of an RS3. The pictures are doctored versions of the standard A3 picture shoot using a version of the forthcoming A3 Sportwagen grille.
These guys want to sell mags. They appear to know 'jack' very well but fail to research stuff appropriately. The info is all guesswork!

I am the Fifth Column. I am no longer an A2 owner. The A3 TDI DSG is awesome - yoof influence - I do wear a baseball cap but NOT backwards.

Have to agree with Maresk they claim the S3 will 20bhp up on the 3.2, What is the point?
